How many real estate agents in Florida?

Count taken September 5, 2026Page built September 5, 2026

45,108 real estate agents in Florida had a published, current brokerage profile when we counted on September 5, 2026. That is 9.1% of the 493,081 agents counted across the United States, and ranks Florida 3rd of 51 states and DC.

People also ask how many realtors in Florida there are; the number above is the answer if "realtor" means any working agent, and the questions section covers the strict, membership-based sense.

"Agent" on this page means a person with a live profile on a brokerage's website at the time of the count. It is not the number of licences Florida has issued, which is higher because many licensees are inactive or unaffiliated, and it is not REALTOR® association membership. The count covers 16 brands; see how the counting works for what is and is not included.

Top real estate brokerages in Florida

The ten biggest real estate companies in Florida by number of agents with a published profile. A company that publishes no office names (Keller Williams, RE/MAX, Compass and others) appears as one row.

By brand rather than company, Keller Williams has 7,362 (16%), Coldwell Banker has 6,728 (15%), LPT Realty has 6,552 (15%), Century 21 has 4,384 (10%) and RE/MAX has 4,209 (9%). A brand's figure adds up every company operating under that name, so a franchise like Coldwell Banker or Century 21 is spread over many rows in the table above but appears once here.

Which Florida cities have the most real estate agents?

Websites, phone numbers and email

Among the 33,466 Florida agents whose profiles we check for a personal website, 7.7% have a site of their own rather than a page on the brokerage's site. The national figure is 7.2%. 93.5% of the 45,108 checked agents publish a direct phone number (national: 90.7%). Every counted agent has a published email address, which is the inclusion rule. In Florida, 34% of those addresses are on a franchise domain, 35% on the agent's or the office's own domain, and 31% on free webmail such as Gmail or Yahoo. No address appears on this site.

Where the data comes from

The count is built from the public agent directories of 16 brokerage brands operating in Florida, led by Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, LPT Realty and Century 21. Brands that publish no directory, and independent brokerages outside those networks, are not counted, so the true number of working agents is higher than the figure on this page; the ranking of brokerages and cities is among the networks we can see.

Every agent counted here has a published email address; that is the inclusion rule. The contact file itself, one row per agent, is sold as the Florida realtor email list at usrealtorlist.com, which is where these counts are drawn from.
