Where the data comes from
The count is built from the public agent directories of 15 brokerage brands operating in North Carolina, led by Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, RE/MAX and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. Brands that publish no directory, and independent brokerages outside those networks, are not counted, so the true number of working agents is higher than the figure on this page; the ranking of brokerages and cities is among the networks we can see.
