By brand rather than company, Keller Williams has 2,834 (26%), Coldwell Banker has 2,657 (24%), RE/MAX has 1,758 (16%), Century 21 has 1,219 (11%) and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has 1,178 (11%). A brand's figure adds up every company operating under that name, so a franchise like Coldwell Banker or Century 21 is spread over many rows in the table above but appears once here.

Among the 10,863 Ohio agents whose profiles we check for a personal website, 7.2% have a site of their own rather than a page on the brokerage's site. The national figure is 7.2%. 92.6% of the 10,865 checked agents publish a direct phone number (national: 90.7%). Every counted agent has a published email address, which is the inclusion rule. In Ohio, 37% of those addresses are on a franchise domain, 33% on the agent's or the office's own domain, and 30% on free webmail such as Gmail or Yahoo. No address appears on this site.

Where the data comes from

The count is built from the public agent directories of 14 brokerage brands operating in Ohio, led by Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, RE/MAX and Century 21. Brands that publish no directory, and independent brokerages outside those networks, are not counted, so the true number of working agents is higher than the figure on this page; the ranking of brokerages and cities is among the networks we can see.

Every agent counted here has a published email address; that is the inclusion rule. The contact file itself, one row per agent, is sold as the Ohio realtor email list at usrealtorlist.com, which is where these counts are drawn from.
